Bowdon Hunt is an Emmy award winning TV director with more than 30 years of television broadcast experience. He has directed such TV programs as Eye on LA, Beach Patrol, MTV’s Senseless Acts of Video, Country Fried Music on TNT and Master Blasters on the Sci-Fi Network. He was also nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on the history of Route 66.
Hunt has won two Emmy’s for his cinematography work on Jamaica and New Zealand. He has been nominated for countless other production awards as well. Most recently he has joined the staff of DeLyon-Hunt & Associates as director of the motorsports division.
Over the years Hunt has covered many forms of racing and was show producer for Primedia’s “Hot Rod TV.” He has also shot numerous stunt shows, including Robbie Knievel’s jump over Snake River in the Grand Canyon.
Racing has always been a big part of Hunt’s life. You might say it is his “true passion.” He is very excited about the prospect of applying his broadcast experience to help the automotive community make the most of the ever-expanding multimedia world.
He and his wife reside in Palos Verdes, California and enjoy spending time at the racetrack and with their brood of pets including dogs Peaches and Spanky and cats Max, Mable and Sam.
